I also have played so this review is from both of us. First, don't let the fine print inside the guitair "Made in China" throw you off. The craftsmanship and finish are excellent. Upon removing it from the packaging (which was very adequate), I noticed a bright shine finish. There was no glue odor or evidence that the glue was sloppy. The strings were already on and only needed tuned. After running my fingers along them, I determined that there was no corrosion. Very good! Once tuned, my son and I began to play and are quite impressed with the sound quality and the fact that we detected NO FRET BUZZ. The bottom line is this: If you... It came with a straight neck and very low action. The only mod I had to do was adding a strap button at the neck joint. Having a tuner in the on board preamp is always a plus too. |
